The service is suitable for areas exposed to frequent contact, dirt or regular cleaning, such as corridors, kitchens, children's rooms, rental properties and common areas.
The walls should be generally sound and suitable for repainting without extensive repair or complete resurfacing.
Basic preparation may include removal of loose dust, protection of adjacent accessible surfaces and minor local preparation before painting.
Washable or stain-resistant interior paint is applied to the agreed wall surfaces. Up to two coats may be applied where required for normal and even coverage.
The final level of washability and stain resistance depends on the selected paint specification and manufacturer.
Paint and consumable materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Major cracks, holes, damaged plaster, peeling coatings, significant unevenness or unstable surfaces require additional preparation and are assessed separately.
Treatment of damp, mould, water damage, nicotine staining, grease contamination or other serious surface problems is not included unless specifically agreed.
Primer or stain-blocking treatment may be required for certain surfaces or existing stains and is charged separately where necessary.
Wallpaper removal, extensive sanding, full wall smoothing and decorative or specialist coatings are separate services.
Painting ceilings, doors, skirting boards, radiators and other surfaces is not included unless specifically agreed.
