The service is intended for walls that are generally in good condition and do not require extensive preparation or repair.
Basic preparation may include removal of loose dust, protection of adjacent accessible surfaces and minor local preparation required before painting.
Standard interior wall paint is applied to the agreed wall surfaces. Up to two coats may be applied where required for normal and even coverage.
The service is intended for a standard single-colour finish using commonly available interior paint.
Paint and consumable materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Major cracks, holes, damaged plaster, peeling surfaces, significant stains or uneven walls require additional preparation and are assessed separately.
Treatment of damp, water damage, mould, nicotine staining or other contamination is not included in basic wall painting.
Removal of wallpaper, textured coatings, extensive sanding, complete wall smoothing and specialist decorative finishes are separate services.
Painting ceilings, doors, skirting boards, radiators, windows and other surfaces is not included unless specifically agreed.
Strong colour changes, particularly from dark to light colours, may require additional primer or coats and are charged separately where necessary.
Furniture should be removed from the immediate working area where possible. Moving heavy furniture or extensive room preparation may be charged separately.
