Local repair of small holes and minor cracks on interior walls or ceilings in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The service is intended for small defects such as screw or fixing holes, minor impact damage, shallow cracks and other limited surface imperfections.
The damaged area is cleaned and prepared before repair.
Suitable filler or repair compound is applied to the defect and levelled with the surrounding surface.
Where required, more than one application may be necessary depending on the depth of the hole or crack and drying time.
After curing, the repaired area is sanded to produce a reasonably smooth surface suitable for subsequent painting.
The service does not include full repainting of the wall or ceiling unless specifically agreed.
Paint, primer and decorative finishing materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Large, deep, recurring or structural cracks are not included and may require separate inspection and repair.
Damage caused by active water leaks, damp, mould, movement of the building, loose plaster or unstable substrate must be assessed separately before cosmetic repair.
Repairs involving large areas of damaged plaster, plasterboard replacement or reinforcement are not included in this service.
Final texture and colour matching cannot always be guaranteed when only a small local area is repaired on an existing aged surface.
