The service applies to exterior wall surfaces that are generally stable and suitable for repainting without major reconstruction.
Basic preparation may include removal of loose dust, dirt and unstable paint, local cleaning and protection of accessible adjacent surfaces.
Minor loose or flaking areas may be prepared before painting where this can be completed as part of normal surface preparation.
A suitable exterior facade paint is applied to the agreed surfaces according to the condition of the wall and product requirements.
One or more coats may be required depending on the existing colour, porosity of the substrate and selected paint system.
Paint, primer and other consumable materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Large cracks, damaged render, loose plaster, exposed reinforcement, significant surface deterioration or structural defects require separate repair before painting.
Treatment of active water ingress, rising damp, persistent moisture, façade leaks or waterproofing defects is not included.
Pressure washing, specialist mould or algae treatment and extensive surface cleaning are included only where specifically agreed.
Windows, doors, shutters, railings, balconies, decorative elements and other non-wall surfaces are not included unless specifically stated.
Work requiring scaffolding, cherry pickers, rope access, roof access or other specialist height equipment is assessed separately.
Very large facades, multi-storey buildings and complex architectural surfaces require an individual quotation.
