The service is intended for ceilings that are generally in good condition and do not require major repairs or extensive preparation.
Basic preparation may include removal of loose dust, protection of nearby accessible surfaces and minor local preparation before painting.
Standard interior ceiling paint is applied to the agreed surface. Up to two coats may be applied where required for normal and even coverage.
The service is intended for a standard single-colour matt or similar conventional ceiling finish.
Paint and consumable materials are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Cracks, holes, loose plaster, peeling paint, damaged surfaces or significant unevenness require additional preparation and are assessed separately.
Treatment of water stains, damp, mould, nicotine staining or other contamination is not included in standard ceiling painting.
Removal of textured coatings, extensive sanding, complete ceiling smoothing and decorative finishes are separate services.
Painting walls, coving, decorative mouldings, beams or other adjacent surfaces is not included unless specifically agreed.
Strong colour changes or heavily stained ceilings may require primer or additional coats and are charged separately where necessary.
High ceilings, stairwells or areas requiring specialist access equipment are assessed separately.
