Balcony / terrace cleaning is an additional service for apartments, rental properties, houses, townhouses, offices or short-term rental properties. It helps bring an open or semi-open area to a neat condition, remove dust, sand, leaves, light everyday dirt and refresh the floor manually.
Balconies and terraces quickly accumulate outdoor dust, sand, rain marks, leaves, pollen, sea salt, small debris and dirt from shoes. This is especially noticeable in coastal apartments, properties after tenants, apartments with open balconies, houses with terraces and properties that have not been regularly maintained for a long time.
Before starting, the cleaner inspects the balcony or terrace, assesses the area, floor type, surface condition, accessibility, presence of furniture, glass railings, plants, sand, leaves, residue, moisture marks, mould, rust or construction dirt. After that, a safe maintenance cleaning method and a possible coefficient for heavy soiling are determined.

What is not included in the basic service
The basic service price does not include:
- Pressure washing

- Removal of cement, paint, glue, silicone, construction foam or grout
- Deep chemical cleaning of tiles, stone or grout lines
- Outdoor furniture cleaning
- Cleaning cushions, mattresses, textiles and furniture covers
- Glass railing cleaning
- Window and balcony door cleaning
- Facade element cleaning
- Exterior wall cleaning
- Cleaning awnings, canopies, blinds, shutters or mosquito nets
- Moving heavy furniture, pots, appliances or large decor without prior agreement
- Removal of large waste
- Work with insects, bed bugs, active mould or unsafe sanitary condition
These tasks can be calculated separately if they are possible to perform, safe and agreed in advance.
Important limitations
Basic balcony / terrace cleaning is maintenance cleaning, not restorative cleaning after long-term neglect. It is designed to remove dust, sand, leaves, light dirt, wipe accessible surfaces and manually wash the floor.
If the balcony or terrace is heavily soiled, has not been maintained for a long time, has dense residue, moisture marks, rust, mould, construction dirt, a large amount of waste or contamination after pets, the cost may be calculated with an increasing coefficient up to 2x. Any price change is agreed before additional work begins.
Not all contamination can be removed manually. Old residue, limescale, rust, cement marks, paint, glue, construction mixtures, mould or dirt ingrained into porous tiles and grout may require separate chemical treatment, steam treatment, pressure washing or restoration.
We do not perform work involving fall risk, going beyond the railing, working on the exterior facade side, cleaning facade glazing without safe access or treating structures in unsafe condition.
Before cleaning, it is recommended to remove personal items, fragile decor, plants, rugs, small furniture and objects that block access to the floor and surfaces. If items are heavy or cannot be safely moved, cleaning is performed only in accessible areas.
Our approach
We perform balcony / terrace cleaning according to a technical cleaning card: first, we inspect the area, assess the size, surface and level of soiling, then remove dry debris, dust, sand and leaves, wipe accessible surfaces and manually wash the floor.
The main goal is to carefully refresh the balcony or terrace without damaging the floor covering, railings, walls, furniture or decorative elements. We do not use pressure washing, aggressive chemicals or restorative methods as part of the basic maintenance service unless agreed separately.
Before/after photo or video confirmation is available on request, especially if the service is performed at a property without the owner present.
Payment and documents
Payment is made on site after the service: in cash or by card via payment link.
The service price is excluding VAT. If you need an official invoice, 21% VAT is added.
By placing an order for balcony / terrace cleaning, you agree to the offer agreement, service rules and limitations related to maintenance cleaning, safe access, removal of complex contamination and the use of increasing coefficients for heavy soiling.
