Diagnosis and repair of 1 standard electric storage water heater in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The service includes inspection of the water heater, basic checks of accessible plumbing and electrical connections, identification of the probable fault and repair where technically possible.
Typical problems may include water not heating, insufficient hot water, unusually slow heating, visible leakage, pressure or safety-valve issues and faults in accessible internal components.
The service may include adjustment or replacement of accessible components such as heating elements, thermostats, safety valves, seals or compatible connection parts where required.
Heating elements, thermostats, valves, seals, electrical components and other replacement parts are not included unless specifically stated. Required parts and materials are charged separately.
The service does not include replacement of the complete water heater, major modification of water pipes, installation of new electrical circuits, opening walls or ceilings, structural repairs or restoration of surfaces damaged by water.
If the tank is leaking, heavily corroded or otherwise not economically repairable, replacement of the complete water heater may be recommended as a separate service.
If the fault originates from the property's electrical installation rather than the water heater itself, separate electrical diagnosis or repair may be required.
