Unblocking of a standard local drain serving a kitchen sink, washbasin or shower.
The price shown applies to 1 drain point with normal access and a blockage located within the accessible local waste system.
The service includes basic diagnosis of the blockage, removal of accessible debris where possible, opening and cleaning an accessible trap when required, and use of standard manual or mechanical drain-clearing methods.
The service is suitable for common blockages caused by soap residue, hair, grease, food particles and other normal household waste.
After clearing, the drain is tested with water to check basic flow and identify any visible leakage from accessible connections.
Replacement traps, seals, connectors, waste pipes and other parts are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include main drain or sewer blockages, high-pressure jetting, drain camera inspection, removal of toilets, opening walls or floors, excavation, dismantling inaccessible pipework or repair of damaged drainage pipes.
If the blockage cannot be cleared using standard methods or is located deeper in the drainage system, a more advanced drain-unblocking service may be required and quoted separately.
