Professional replacement of standard shower mixers in homes, apartments, rental properties and other premises.
The price shown applies to replacement of 1 standard exposed shower mixer with normal access and existing suitable hot and cold water connections.
The service includes shutting off the water supply where accessible, disconnecting and removing the existing mixer, installing the new compatible mixer, connecting it to the existing plumbing and carrying out a basic leak and functionality check.
The customer should provide the new shower mixer unless supply has been agreed separately.
The new mixer must be compatible with the existing pipe spacing, connection type and shower installation.
Replacement eccentric connectors, adapters, seals, hoses, wall fittings and other additional components are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they will be quoted separately.
The service does not include replacement of concealed shower valves, modification or relocation of pipework, installation of new water points, opening walls or tiles, waterproofing repairs or major plumbing alterations.
If damaged threads, corrosion, leaking concealed connections or other problems are discovered during removal, additional labour or parts may be required and will be agreed separately.
