Replacement of 1 standard electric storage water heater in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The price shown covers labour only and applies where the existing installation position, water connections and electrical supply are suitable for the replacement heater.
The service includes shutting off the water supply, draining and disconnecting the existing heater, removing it from its mounting position, installing the compatible replacement unit, reconnecting the existing water connections and carrying out a basic filling and leak test.
The customer provides the new electric water heater unless its supply has been agreed separately.
The replacement heater must be suitable for the available installation space, mounting surface, capacity, connection positions and existing electrical supply.
Safety valves, flexible hoses, isolation valves, mounting brackets, anchors, connectors, adapters and other additional materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include relocation or modification of water pipes, installation of new water points, wall reinforcement, opening or rebuilding walls, electrical circuit modifications, installation of a new socket or electrical line, or construction and decorative repairs.
Removal and disposal of the old water heater from the property is not included unless specifically agreed.
If the existing mounting surface, plumbing connections or electrical installation are unsuitable or damaged, additional work may be required and will be agreed separately before installation.
