The service is intended for blockages that cannot normally be cleared using basic sink, shower or toilet unblocking methods.
The price applies to 1 blockage with reasonable access to the affected drainage system.
The service includes basic diagnosis of the blockage location, access through an available drain point or inspection opening and use of suitable professional mechanical drain-clearing equipment.
Typical causes may include accumulated grease, organic deposits, scale, compacted waste, foreign material or other obstructions within the drainage pipe.
After clearing, the drainage system is tested with water where possible to confirm basic flow.
Drain camera inspection, high-pressure jetting, excavation, opening walls or floors, removal of inaccessible pipework and repair or replacement of damaged drainage pipes are not included unless specifically agreed.
If the blockage is caused by collapsed, broken, deformed or incorrectly installed pipework, clearing alone may not solve the problem. Additional diagnostic or repair work will be quoted separately.
