The price shown applies to diagnosis and minor repair of 1 standard tap or mixer with normal access.
The service includes inspection of the tap, identification of the likely source of the leak, basic dismantling where required, adjustment of accessible components and minor repair where technically possible.
Typical causes may include worn seals, washers, O-rings, loose internal components or a defective cartridge.
Replacement washers, seals, cartridges, valves, tap heads and other spare parts are not included in the service price unless specifically stated.
If the tap requires a replacement cartridge or another component, the technician will identify the required part. Parts and any additional labour will be agreed separately before installation.
The service does not include replacement of the complete tap or mixer, repair of concealed pipework, opening walls or furniture, major corrosion repair or modification of the existing plumbing installation.
If the tap body itself is damaged, heavily corroded or no longer repairable, replacement of the complete tap may be recommended as a separate service.
