The service includes inspection of the appliance, confirmation of the fault and repair of accessible components where technically possible.
Typical problems may include insufficient cooling, excessive cooling, failure to start, unusual noise, water leakage, ice build-up, drainage problems, door-seal issues, temperature-control faults or error codes.
The service may include adjustment, cleaning or replacement of accessible components such as thermostats, sensors, fans, relays, drain components, door seals or other compatible parts.
Replacement thermostats, sensors, fans, relays, electronic modules, door seals, compressors and other spare parts are not included unless specifically stated. Required parts are charged separately.
Refrigerant recharge, leak detection, compressor replacement, sealed refrigeration-system repairs and other work involving the refrigerant circuit are not included in the standard repair price and are assessed separately.
The service does not include modification of electrical connections, furniture alteration, structural work, repair of damage caused by water or defrosting, or removal and disposal of the appliance.
For built-in appliances, access must allow the refrigerator or freezer to be removed without major furniture dismantling or carpentry work.
If the compressor, refrigeration circuit or electronic control system has a major fault, a separate repair quotation may be required after inspection.
If repair is not technically or economically reasonable considering the appliance age, condition and required parts, replacement may be recommended.
