Installation of 1 ducted air-conditioning system in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises where a suitable air-conditioning pre-installation already exists.
The service is intended for properties with existing ductwork and prepared refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage and electrical or control connections suitable for connection of a ducted AC system.
Before installation, the accessible pre-installation is checked for compatibility with the selected equipment, including the available connection points, pipe dimensions, drainage arrangement, electrical supply and installation space.
The service may include installation and fixing of the indoor ducted unit and outdoor unit, connection to the existing refrigerant lines, condensate drain, electrical and control connections and existing duct system.
Where required, accessible supply and return-air connections between the indoor unit and the existing ductwork are completed as part of the agreed installation scope.
The refrigeration circuit is vacuumed and the system is checked before commissioning.
After installation, basic operational testing is carried out, including cooling or heating operation, airflow, condensate drainage and system controls.
The air-conditioning equipment itself is not included unless equipment supply is specifically stated in the quotation.
Replacement of existing refrigerant pipework, major duct modifications, new ductwork, new electrical circuits, condensate pumps, additional refrigerant and other materials not included in the agreed installation are charged separately.
If the existing pre-installation is damaged, contaminated, incorrectly sized or incompatible with the selected system, additional work may be required before installation can be completed.
Plastering, painting, ceiling repair, major structural work and decorative restoration are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Outdoor units requiring roof access, specialist height equipment, lifting equipment or difficult access are assessed separately.
Work involving regulated refrigerants and system commissioning is carried out in accordance with applicable local requirements.
