A multisplit system connects several indoor air-conditioning units to a single compatible outdoor unit.
The system configuration and price are calculated individually according to the number of indoor units, required cooling and heating capacity, room sizes, installation locations and technical conditions of the property.
The service may include supply of the selected indoor and outdoor units, mounting of the equipment, installation of refrigerant pipework, insulation, condensate drainage, interconnection cabling, vacuuming of the refrigeration circuit and system commissioning.
The approved quotation specifies the equipment models, number and capacity of indoor units, outdoor unit, included installation materials and agreed installation scope.
Standard installation materials may include copper refrigerant pipe, insulation, condensate hose, electrical or interconnection cable, trunking, brackets, fixings and other components where specifically included in the quotation.
Long refrigerant runs, additional wall penetrations, condensate pumps, specialist mounting structures, additional refrigerant and other non-standard installation requirements are priced separately where necessary.
Installation of a new dedicated electrical circuit, consumer-unit modifications, major wall chasing, structural work, plastering, painting and other decorative restoration are included only where specifically stated in the quotation.
Roof installations, façade work, high-level outdoor units and locations requiring scaffolding, lifting equipment or specialist height access are assessed separately.
The final system design must provide suitable electrical capacity, condensate drainage, airflow and safe access for installation and future maintenance.
Testing, vacuuming and commissioning are carried out after installation before the system is handed over for normal operation.
