Labour for installation of 1 standard single-split air-conditioning system in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The service covers installation of 1 indoor unit and 1 corresponding outdoor unit under normal access conditions.
The service may include positioning and mounting both units, preparation of wall penetration where suitable, routing and connection of refrigerant pipes, condensate drain and interconnection cable, vacuuming of the refrigeration circuit and basic commissioning.
The customer provides the air-conditioning system unless equipment supply has been agreed separately.
The installation price applies to a standard layout with a short and reasonably direct route between the indoor and outdoor units. Longer pipe runs, difficult routing or additional penetrations are assessed separately.
Copper refrigerant pipe, insulation, condensate hose, electrical/interconnection cable, trunking, outdoor-unit brackets, anti-vibration mounts, fixings and other installation materials are not included unless specifically stated.
Additional refrigerant required beyond the factory charge is not included and is charged separately where necessary.
The service does not include installation of a new dedicated electrical circuit, consumer-unit modification, major wall chasing, structural alterations, decorative restoration or extensive concealed routing.
Roof installations, façades, high-level outdoor units and locations requiring scaffolding, lifting equipment or specialist height access are assessed separately.
The installation location must provide suitable drainage, ventilation, electrical supply and safe mounting surfaces for both units.
Work involving regulated refrigerants and commissioning is carried out in accordance with applicable local requirements.
