The service can be booked separately or together with a Home Guardy transport or moving service.
Standard packing may include clothing, books, kitchenware, household items, decorative objects and other suitable belongings.
Furniture may be protected with stretch film, protective covers, blankets or other appropriate materials where required.
Fragile items may require additional wrapping, cushioning and suitable boxes depending on their size and condition.
Boxes can be labelled by room, category or destination where this is included in the agreed service.
Packing is carried out using the customer’s materials or materials supplied separately for the order.
Cardboard boxes, tape, bubble wrap, stretch film, protective covers, paper, corner protectors and other packing materials are not included unless specifically stated.
Furniture dismantling and reassembly are separate services unless specifically included in the quotation.
Specialist packing of artwork, antiques, musical instruments, high-value items, large mirrors or other unusually fragile objects requires individual assessment.
Hazardous materials, liquids that cannot be safely transported, prohibited goods and unsuitable items are not packed for transport.
The customer should identify valuables, documents, jewellery, cash, medicines and other personal items that should remain under their direct control.
Unpacking and disposal of used packing materials at the destination are not included unless separately booked.
The final labour requirement depends on the quantity of belongings, type of items and level of protection required.
