Installation of 1 outdoor lighting point on a terrace, balcony, patio, entrance, garden area or exterior wall.
The price applies where a suitable existing electrical circuit is available near the proposed installation point.
The service may include preparation of the mounting position, installation of the light fitting or connection point, connection to the existing wiring and basic functionality testing.
The customer provides the outdoor light fitting unless its supply has been agreed separately.
The light fitting and electrical components must be suitable for outdoor use and appropriate for the installation location and expected exposure to moisture and weather.
Cable, weatherproof junction boxes, glands, conduit, connectors, anchors and other installation materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include installation of a new dedicated circuit, long cable runs, underground cabling, excavation, major wall chasing, consumer unit modifications or extensive concealed wiring.
Installation of garden lighting systems with multiple points, timers, sensors, smart controls or transformers is assessed separately.
If the existing circuit, earthing or protective devices are unsuitable for safe outdoor use, additional electrical work may be required and will be agreed separately.
