The visit may include visual inspection, basic electrical testing, checking accessible circuits or electrical points and identification of the probable cause of the fault.
Typical situations may include local power loss, repeated breaker or RCD tripping, non-working sockets, lighting faults, overheating electrical components or other problems requiring prompt attention.
Repair labour, replacement parts, cable, sockets, switches, breakers, RCDs and other materials are not included unless specifically stated. Any additional work is carried out only after the scope and price have been agreed.
The service does not include full electrical inspection or certification, complete rewiring, consumer unit replacement, installation of new circuits, opening walls or ceilings or major electrical reconstruction.
