Installation of 1 chandelier or complex ceiling light fitting in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The price applies where an existing ceiling electrical point is available and suitable for the new fitting.
The service may include basic assembly of the light fitting, preparation of supplied mounting components, mounting to the ceiling, electrical connection to the existing wiring, adjustment of the fitting position and basic functionality testing.
The customer provides the chandelier or light fitting unless its supply has been agreed separately.
The fitting must be compatible with the existing electrical supply, ceiling structure, mounting system and available installation space.
Bulbs, specialist anchors, additional mounting plates, cable, connectors, reinforcement components and other materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include installation of a new electrical point, relocation of wiring, creation of a new circuit, major ceiling modifications, structural reinforcement, concealed cable routing or decorative restoration.
Very heavy chandeliers, oversized fittings, multi-level installations, high ceilings requiring specialist access equipment or installations requiring more than one technician may require separate assessment.
If the existing wiring, ceiling structure or mounting point is unsuitable or damaged, additional work may be required and will be agreed separately.
