Installation of 1 standard ceiling light in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The price applies where an existing ceiling electrical point is available and suitable for the new light fitting.
The service includes isolating the circuit, removing the existing standard light fitting where required, mounting the new fitting, connecting it to the existing wiring and carrying out a basic functionality test.
The customer provides the new ceiling light unless its supply has been agreed separately.
The new fitting must be compatible with the existing electrical point, ceiling structure and available power supply.
Bulbs, mounting plates, special anchors, connectors, additional cable and other materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include installation of a new electrical point, relocation of existing wiring, creation of a new circuit, major ceiling modifications, concealed cable routing, plastering, painting or other decorative repairs.
Large chandeliers, unusually heavy fittings, complex multi-part systems, high ceilings requiring specialist access equipment and smart or motorised lighting systems are assessed separately.
If damaged wiring, an unsuitable mounting surface or another electrical fault is discovered during installation, additional work may be required and will be agreed separately.
