Installation of 1 new recessed electrical point in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The price applies where a suitable existing electrical circuit is available and the new point can be installed without major reconstruction of the electrical system.
The service may include preparation of the opening for the recessed mounting box, installation of the box, routing a short cable section from an accessible connection point, electrical connection and basic functionality testing.
The new point may be prepared for a compatible socket, switch or similar standard electrical mechanism.
The customer provides the socket, switch or other final mechanism unless its supply has been agreed separately.
Cable, recessed mounting box, connectors, conduit, fixings and other installation materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include long cable runs, installation of a new dedicated circuit from the consumer unit, major wall chasing, work through reinforced concrete or structural elements, complete rewiring or electrical certification.
Plastering, painting, tiling and other decorative restoration after installation are not included.
If the existing circuit is unsuitable, overloaded, damaged or does not allow safe extension, additional electrical work may be required and will be agreed separately.
