Installation of 1 new surface-mounted electrical socket in a home, apartment, office, rental property or other premises.
The price shown applies where a suitable existing electrical supply is accessible near the proposed installation point.
The service includes marking the installation position, mounting the surface box and socket, connecting to the existing electrical supply and carrying out a basic functionality test after installation.
The customer provides the new surface-mounted socket unless its supply has been agreed separately.
The installation is intended for standard low-complexity additions where no major rewiring or concealed cable routing is required.
Socket mechanisms, surface boxes, cable, cable trunking, connectors, fixings and other installation materials are not included unless specifically stated. If required, they are charged separately.
The service does not include creation of a new dedicated circuit, major cable runs, concealed wiring inside walls, opening or repairing walls or ceilings, consumer unit modifications or electrical certification.
If the existing circuit is unsuitable, overloaded, damaged or does not provide a safe connection point, additional electrical work may be required and will be agreed separately.
