The service includes inspection of the appliance, confirmation of the fault and repair of accessible components where technically possible.
Typical problems may include one or more cooking zones not heating, failure to switch on, intermittent operation, error codes, touch-control problems, incorrect power regulation, unexpected shutdown or tripping of electrical protection.
The service may include adjustment, cleaning or replacement of accessible components such as sensors, switches, cooling fans, connectors or other compatible parts.
Induction power modules, control boards, heating elements, sensors, fans, glass-ceramic surfaces and other replacement parts are not included unless specifically stated. Required parts are charged separately.
The service does not include repair or modification of the property's electrical circuit, replacement of unsuitable power wiring, installation of a new dedicated circuit or modification of the consumer unit.
For built-in hobs, access must allow the appliance to be removed from the worktop without major furniture or worktop modification.
Replacement of cracked or broken glass-ceramic surfaces is assessed separately due to model-specific parts and repair costs.
Gas hobs and any work involving gas connections are not included in this service.
If the power module, control board, glass surface or another major component is defective, a separate repair quotation may be required after inspection.
If the repair is not technically or economically reasonable considering the appliance age, condition and required parts, replacement may be recommended.
