The service includes inspection of the boiler, identification of the probable fault and repair of accessible components where technically possible.
Typical problems may include failure to start, ignition problems, no heating, no domestic hot water, unstable water temperature, pressure loss, frequent shutdowns, unusual noise, visible water leakage or error codes.
The service may include adjustment, cleaning or replacement of accessible components such as sensors, ignition components, valves, pumps, pressure switches, thermostats, seals or control elements.
Pumps, valves, sensors, electronic boards, ignition components, heat exchangers, expansion vessels and other replacement parts are not included unless specifically stated. Required parts are charged separately.
The boiler pressure, accessible water connections and relevant operating parameters may be checked as part of the repair.
Where appropriate, the burner, ignition system, combustion operation and accessible flue connection may be checked to identify faults affecting normal or safe operation.
Repair of the property's gas supply installation, replacement or modification of gas pipework, complete heating-system flushing, radiator repairs and major plumbing work are not included.
Mandatory gas installation inspections, official certificates and other regulated inspections are not included unless specifically agreed as a separate service.
Major repairs involving the heat exchanger, gas valve, electronic control board or other expensive components may require a separate quotation after diagnosis.
If the boiler cannot be operated safely, it should remain out of service until the identified fault has been corrected.
Gas boiler repairs are carried out by appropriately qualified or authorised personnel where required by applicable regulations.
