Seasonal opening and start-up of 1 private swimming pool at a home, villa, rental property or other residential premises.
The service is intended for pools that have been closed or used minimally during the off-season and need to be prepared for normal operation.
Where present and accessible, the pool cover may be removed and set aside within the property.
Floating debris, leaves and other accessible contamination may be removed from the water and surrounding accessible pool areas.
The skimmer baskets, pump basket and other accessible debris collection points may be cleaned where required.
The filtration system is started and visually checked for normal circulation, obvious leaks and basic operating condition.
Accessible pump, filter, valves and other standard pool components may be checked for visible signs of abnormal operation.
Basic water testing may include pH, disinfectant level and other relevant parameters where suitable testing equipment is available.
Initial water balancing or corrective treatment may be carried out where appropriate using suitable pool chemicals.
Pool chemicals, disinfectants, pH-control products, algaecides, flocculants and other consumables are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
A green, heavily contaminated or neglected pool requiring intensive algae treatment or repeated filtration requires a separate green pool recovery service.
Repair or replacement of pumps, filters, valves, pipework, dosing equipment, lights or other pool systems is not included.
Complete draining, deep cleaning and refilling are not included unless separately agreed.
Additional visits may be required if the water cannot be stabilised during the initial start-up visit.
