The service begins with visual assessment of the pool water, surfaces and accessible filtration equipment.
Leaves, insects and other accessible floating debris are removed where required.
Pool walls, steps and accessible floor areas may be brushed to loosen algae and accumulated deposits.
Basic water testing may include pH and disinfectant levels and other relevant parameters where suitable testing equipment is available.
Corrective treatment may include adjustment of water balance, shock disinfection and suitable anti-algae treatment according to the condition of the pool.
The filtration system may be operated for extended periods to help remove suspended contamination after treatment.
Filter backwashing, rinsing or cleaning may be carried out where required and compatible with the installed filtration system.
Additional vacuuming may be required after dead algae and sediment settle on the pool floor.
Pool chemicals, flocculants, algaecides, disinfectants and other consumables are not included unless specifically stated in the quotation.
Severely contaminated pools may require more than one treatment or return visit before normal water clarity is restored.
Recovery time depends on water condition, pool volume, temperature, filtration performance and the severity of contamination.
Repair of pumps, filters, valves, pipework, dosing equipment or other pool systems is not included.
Complete draining, cleaning and refilling of the pool is a separate service where recovery by normal treatment is not practical.
