The service may include checking door alignment, adjusting accessible hinges, correcting minor rubbing or sticking, and basic adjustment of the latch or strike plate where technically possible.
The service is intended for minor adjustment problems where the existing door, frame, hinges and fittings are generally in serviceable condition.
Replacement hinges, handles, locks, latches, screws and other parts are not included unless stated otherwise in the service card.
The service does not include replacement of the door or frame, major carpentry work, reconstruction of damaged frames, repair of severe water damage, extensive planing or cutting, painting or decorative finishing.
If the problem is caused by structural movement, a damaged frame, severely warped door or defective hardware, additional repair work may be required and quoted separately.
