Professional single mattress cleaning is a service for maintaining the cleanliness, freshness and hygiene of your sleeping area.

A mattress is used every day and accumulates more contamination than may be visible on the surface. Dust, body oils, sweat, skin particles, odours, pet hair, drink residues, everyday dirt and stains of different origins gradually build up in the fabric. Even if the mattress is covered with a sheet or mattress protector, some contamination can still penetrate the upper fabric layer.

Single mattress cleaning is especially useful after long-term use, tenants, guests, children, pets, odours, stains, urine marks, sweat marks or a general feeling of lack of freshness. It is important to understand that professional cleaning does not make an old mattress new and does not remove physical wear, filling deformation, sagging, fabric fading or stains that have already changed the structure of the material.

We clean mattresses with certified technicians. The service is performed using professional vacuum cleaners, extractor equipment, presprays, rinsing agents, stain removers and cleaning products from American and German manufacturers. The treatment method is selected after mattress inspection: fabric type, surface condition, odours, stains, urine traces, material sensitivity and the acceptable moisture level are all taken into account.

The main purpose of mattress cleaning is to remove accessible contamination from the fabric, refresh the surface, reduce odours, improve sleeping-area hygiene and rinse the material safely without over-wetting. Mattresses cannot be cleaned like carpets or dense upholstery: excessive moisture may cause long drying time, damp odour and a risk of mould development. For this reason, we control the amount of moisture and choose the cleaning method carefully.

Stages of single mattress cleaning

1. Inspection of the mattress and assessment of the fabric condition.
2. Identification of the material type and possible cleaning restrictions.
3. Checking stains, odours, sweat marks, urine traces and other contamination.
4. UV inspection if biological contamination or urine traces are suspected.
5. Selection of the appropriate treatment method: extractor cleaning, delicate cleaning, local treatment or combined cleaning.
6. Fabric test for resistance to detergents and stain removers.
7. Dry vacuum cleaning with professional equipment.
8. Pet hair removal, if required.
9. Application of cleaning prespray with moisture control.
10. Dwell time for breaking down dirt and soiling.
11. Fabric rinsing with an extractor and careful moisture control.
12. Local stain removal, if required and safe for the material.
13. Urine trace or odour treatment, if possible depending on the mattress condition.
14. Oxygen treatment or bleaching, if suitable for the specific fabric.
15. Drying with professional air movers, if this additional service is required.
16. Final result inspection and recommendations for further drying.

Difficult cases

Difficult cases include single mattresses with strong urine odour, old sweat stains, blood marks, drink stains, cosmetic or medicine stains, mould traces, multiple watermarks, heavy overall soiling or consequences of previous self-cleaning.

Mattresses where contamination has penetrated deep into the filling are especially difficult to treat. In such cases, it may be possible to improve the fabric condition and reduce the odour, but complete removal of contamination from the inner layers of the mattress is not always possible. If urine, moisture or biological contamination has remained inside the mattress for a long time, the odour may return after drying.

Delicate care is required for mattresses with natural and blended fabrics, cotton, viscose, jacquard, knitted upholstery, quilted surfaces, membrane layers, decorative stitching and sensitive materials. These fabrics may develop watermarks, shrink, change colour or deform if cleaned incorrectly. For this reason, we always inspect and test the material before starting the service.

If the mattress is heavily soiled, the final price may be calculated with an additional coefficient from 1.2 to 2.0. The final cost depends on the level of soiling, number of stains, odours, urine traces, fabric type, need for stain removal, oxygen treatment, drying and the number of sides to be cleaned.

The mattress is not turned over or moved without your consent. If the second side needs to be cleaned, or the mattress needs to be lifted or moved, the technician will agree this with you in advance.

Limitations

We do not clean mattresses with active mould, bed bugs, insects, biological contamination or unsafe sanitary conditions. In such cases, you must first contact a specialised disinfection or pest control service. After professional treatment of the room and mattress, fabric cleaning may be considered if the material condition allows it.

We also do not guarantee complete removal of old stains, deep urine traces, odours from the filling, mould marks, yellow sweat stains, fading, fabric damage, filling deformation or stains that have already changed the structure of the material.

Payment and documents

Payment is made on site after the service: in cash or by card via payment link.

The service price is excluding VAT. If you need an official invoice, 21% VAT is added.
